What are Raízen’s business principles?
Raízen’s business principles are grounded on honesty, integrity, and respect for individuals. They apply to all transactions, whether large or small, and guide the behavior expected from all employees and third parties when carrying on their activities related to Raízen at all times.
• Principle 1 – Economic
Long-term profitability is essential to achieving Raízen’s business goals and to its continued growth. It is a measure both of efficiency and of the value that customers attribute to Raízen’s products and services. It supplies the necessary corporate resources for the continuing investment that is required to develop and produce future energy supplies to meet customer needs.
• Principle 2 – Fair and Ethical Competition
Raízen supports free enterprise and competition. We seek to compete fairly and ethically and pursuant to the Law, especially applicable competition laws. We do not prevent others from competing freely with us.
• Principle 3 – Business Integrity
Raízen insists on honesty, integrity, and fairness in all aspects of its business and expects the same from those with whom it does business.
• Principle 4 – Political Activities
When dealing with governments, Raízen has the right and responsibility to make its position known on any matters affecting it, its employees or the communities, pursuant to its Business Principles and values.
• Principle 5 – Health, Safety, Security, and the Environment
Raízen has clear guidelines on health, safety, security, and environmental management to achieve continuous sustainable performance management for these areas.
• Principle 6 – Relationship with Communities
Raízen adds to the wellbeing of local communities where it operates, mapping and following up impacts related to its agricultural, industrial, and business activities aligned with all business’s specifications.
• Principle 7 – Communication and Engagement
Raízen is committed to reporting its performance, providing all information to legitimately interested parties, without prejudice to the confidentiality of its activities.

We comply with all applicable laws of the countries in which we operate, respecting all authorities.
Does Raízen make available any channel for reporting of violation of the Code of Conduct and/or the law?

What types of violation can be reported in the Ethics Channel?
All types of violation of the Code of Conduct and/or the applicable law can be reported, such as (i) behavior that limits free enterprise and competition, (ii) moral or sexual harassment, (iii) conflicts of interest, (iv) fraud or asset misappropriation, (vi) behavior that violates Raízen’s health, safety and environment (HSE) rules, among others.
Can my report be made anonymously? Will it be handled confidentially?
We guarantee anonymity to all reports received through the Ethics Channel, if the reporting person wishes so. For this purpose, the reporting person must not identify him/herself or inform that he/she wishes to be anonymous when reporting a violation.
Information reported here will be received by an independent and specialized company, and forwarded to internal audit and the company areas in charge for investigating the report and taking any applicable measures.
Does Raízen have any policy on gifts and hospitalities?
Raízen’s Code of Conduct prohibits acceptance of gifts and hospitalities that Influence business decision-making or represent any commitment by Raízen or its employees. However, the following gifts and hospitalities are acceptable, provided they do not cause any conflict of interest:
• Gifts of up to one hundred Reais (R$ 100.00) [one or more items];
• Meals of up to two hundred Reais (R$ 200.00) per person; and
• Non-periodical events of up to four hundred Reais (R$ 400.00).
Does Raízen donates to political parties?
Raízen does not make any type of contribution to political campaigns, political parties, political candidate or any of affiliates thereof.
