New complex is recognized

Our Morro Agudo Bioenergy Complex received the Bonsucro seal.

2GE at NTT IndyCar Series

Our 2nd generation ethanol is reaching new heights: starting with the 2023 season, Raízen’s 2GE will be at NTT IndyCar Series tracks through Shell.

2GE in F1

Second-generation ethanol used in Ferrari engines of Formula 1 vehicles.

Inclusion on IBOVESPA

We were listed in the IBOVESPA index, one year after going public on the Brazilian Stock Exchange.

First electric vehicle charging station

We launched the first Shell Recharge charging station, installed at a Shell gas station in São Paulo.

Raízen Lubricants

Announcement of the creation of Raízen Lubricants, our new business unit.

Arrival in Paraguay

We continued to grow and entered a new country, through @shell gas stations, sublicensed by Raízen.

IPO

We became a publicly traded company on the B3 exchange.

Acquisition of Biosev

We concluded the acquisition of the company Biosev.

Miritituba Terminal

Inauguration of the fuel distribution base in Miritituba, state of Pará

Public commitments

Launch of our 2030 public commitments, connected to 15 of the 17 UN SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).

First biogas plant

Inauguration of our first biogas plant, in Guariba, state of São Paulo.

Creation of Grupo Nós

Creation of Grupo Nós, a joint venture  with FEMSA to expand our business in the proximity and convenience segments throughout Brazil.

São Luís Terminal

Inauguration of the São Luís Terminal, in the state of Maranhão.

First solar plant

Inauguration of our first solar energy plant, in Piracicaba

Shell in Argentina

Purchase of Shell assets in Argentina.

Marabá Terminal

Inauguration of our terminal in Marabá, state of Pará.

First 2GE plant

Inauguration of the first plant for the production of second generation ethanol (E2G) in Brazil, at the Costa Pinto site in Piracicaba, in the state of São Paulo.

Raízen is born

Raízen enters the market through a joint venture between two large companies: Shell and Cosan

Bonsucro Certification

First company in the world to have a production site certified by Bonsucro

Raízen inaugurates a distribution terminal in Mato Grosso

Inauguration of the fuel distribution terminal in Rondonópolis, in the state of Mato Grosso.
